Since WebDirect is a browser-based platform there is no software to download or installation required. WebDirect can be accessed through almost all firewalls and proxy servers, and is compatible with all popular operating systems.

The only software requirement for WebDirect is a web browser that supports 128-bit encryption. Almost all current browsers including the latest version of Internet Explorer and Netscape now support 128-bit encryption.

Power and Reliability

The network powering our WebDirect trading platform was built to deliver the speed and reliability critical for direct access professional trading. Redundancy and scalability were built in to all areas that affect performance.

A status monitor constantly watches every server in the network, checking for stable connectivity. In the event of failure of any one server, orders will be routed to another server in the network. All lines to data servers, ECNs and exchanges are also redundant with load balancing technology designed to manage traffic and avoid points of failure.

Security

Since client privacy is always of utmost concern, we have utilized the latest in security technology and procedures to ensure the platform is secure. The platform utilizes 128-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) technology for such security features as data encryption, server authentication, message integrity, and client authentication. A 128-bit encryption code is considered unbreakable by world governments and is the highest level of encryption available with current online technologies.
